1. What are Sentosa's operating hours?

The island is open every day, including public holidays, with varying operating hours for the different attractions, retail shops, food and beverage outlets as well as transport services. If you are planning to visit our attractions, most of them are open from 9-10am daily and some close as early as 6pm. The last entry is usually 30 minutes before closing time. 

Overnight stay on the island is not permitted unless you are staying at Sentosa Cove, the hotels on the island and during certain events which last through the night.

2. Can I enter the island on my motorcycle?

No, motorcycles are not allowed to enter Sentosa
3. Is there a speed limit for vehicles travelling on the island?

Yes, the speed limit on the island is 40km/h. We seek the cooperation of all drivers to observe this speed limit regulation.
4. Where can I exchange my foreign currencies to Singapore Dollars?

There is a money changer in the Cable Car Retail Outlet located at the Cable Car Arrival Plaza, Imbiah Lookout. [Note: Indian rupees and Philippine pesos are not available for exchange.]

Alternatively, you may cross over to VivoCity and/or HarbourFront Centre.
5. If we are coming in a large group, can we get special discounts for island admission over
the counter?


As island admission has been lowered to S$3.00 per person, there will be no further discounts for
bulk purchases.
6. Are there any nursing rooms in Sentosa?

Yes, there is a nursing room located at Beach Station.
7. Are there any shower facilities at the beach?

Yes, there are showers and washrooms along Siloso, Palawan and Tanjong Beach.
8. Where can I find lockers in Sentosa?

There are lockers located at the restrooms along Siloso and Palawan Beach.
9. How can I obtain more information (e.g. venue capacity, venue rentals, etc) on holding an event in Sentosa?

10. Where do I board the ferries to Kusu or St John’s Island?

As the ferry terminal in Sentosa has ceased operations, all ferries to Kusu & St John’s Island depart from Marina South Pier. For more information on our Southern islands, click here.
11. How can I obtain more information on dining in the cable car?

The Sky Dining services are provided by Mount Faber Leisure Group. You may wish to visit their corporate website for more information.
12. Are the Sentosa Holiday Chalet & Camp Laguna campsite still available?

The Sentosa Holiday Chalet and Camp Laguna have been closed for other developments and are no longer available. Please click here for the resorts/hotels available.
13. Are pets allowed on the island?

For the convenience of all visitors, pets must be put on leash at all times and be under proper control. They can be brought into the island via the Causeway-Bridge as they're not allowed onboard the train, bus or cable car. Please help us keep the island clean by cleaning up after your pets.
14. Where is the new cashless admission system installed?

The system is installed at the seven new gantry booths which are located after the causeway bridge.
15. How does the guest pay for his admission and vehicle/taxi entry?

Island admission (IA) and vehicle charges are deducted from the vehicle’s In-vehicle Unit (I.U.).  Guests coming by taxi will pay for the IA charges at the end of their ride when they pay for the taxi fare. Taxis will not be charged for vehicle entry.
16. How do guests who cycle in pay for island admission?

If guests have a CashCard, they can use the Autopass/CashCard reader installed at the gantry booth to make payment. If not, they will be given a payment advice to pay by cash, NETS or credit card at Group Arrival Centre.
17. How do guests pay when they drive a Malaysian-registered vehicle that does not have an I.U.?

They can insert their Autopass card into the Autopass/Cashcard reader at the booth to make payment.  If not, they will be given a payment advice to pay by cash, NETS or credit card at GAC.
18. What if the I.U. malfunctions/ CashCard has insufficient value? Can guests pay in cash?

Guests will be given a payment advice to make payment by cash/NETS/credit card at Group Arrival Centre.
19. Where can guests top up their CashCards?

Guests can top up their CashCards at the Beach Station car park. We are also looking into installing a CashCard Top-up Machine at the Group Arrival Centre.
20. What are the changes for Islanders’ entry?

Current procedures apply. Islanders will show their membership cards at the gantry for free entry and pay $2 for car entry. Payment is made via the CashCard in I.U.
