Time 10am – 7pm

Step back in time into the kampong days where children play gasing, five stones, chapteh or goli, stall holders wearing wooden red clogs and eating ice balls were part of everyday life. Come experience the nostalgia as we recreate the simple life with stalls featuring foods, games and trades from the old days.

Walk into the not too distant past where families sit together and play games like the pick-up sticks, snakes & ladder and happy family card. Pitch your skills with our specially constructed giant-sized games at Imbiah Lookout. There is so much more heritage to discover at this charming kampong - definitely an entertaining and educational experience for the whole family.

» Volvo Ocean Race Singapore Stopover

Date  January 2009
The Volvo Ocean Race 2008-2009 set sail from Alicante, Spain on 11 October. Eight teams have embarked on the world's most grueling and exciting ocean race and they are headed to Singapore this December when they dock at Sentosa, which is the fourth port of call in the 66,000 kilometre journey.

Staged every 3 - 4 years, this world's premier ocean race will call at 11 other ports, covering more than 39,000 nautical miles over 9 months. And for the first time in its 34 years of history, the Race will take competitors across Asian waters!

Sentosa is proud to be the first Southeast Asian stopover and 4th leg of this prestigious race. Organised by ONE15 Singapore Ocean Race Pte Ltd, the Singapore Stopover will be jointly host sponsored by Sentosa and ONE° 15 Marina Club. In conjunction with the arrival of the Race at Sentosa, a whole host of race-related activities including a Race Village in Sentosa Cove, from 20 December 2008 to 18 January 2009, is in store to give spectators the opportunity to experience the thrill of yacht racing close-up.
